Atlassian have announced the end of life timeline for Data Center. Find out what this means for ScriptRunner Data Center licenses and how to get started on your migration journey.
Earlier this week, Atlassian announced its plan for Data Center end of life in March 2029.
As part of their commitment to Cloud, Atlassian has set out a three-year plan to sunset the majority of their Data Center products.
Atlassian’s timeline
30 March 2026: Last date for new customers to purchase licenses and Marketplace apps for Data Center products.
30 March 2028: Last date for existing customers to purchase licenses, Marketplace apps and license expansions for Data Center products.
28 March 2029: Data Center licenses and Marketplace apps will expire and become read-only.
All Data Center products are affected except Bitbucket which now offers a new hybrid license where users can choose from Data Center and Cloud hostings to best fit their needs.
