ScriptRunner for Jira Isolated Cloud is built natively on Forge and does not egress your data by default. However, it allows you to share your data with trusted sources outside the Atlassian ecosystem. This means, unless you choose otherwise, all of your scripts and app data are stored and processed within Atlassian's infrastructure, so you can gain complete control over your data while simplifying procurement processes.

Atlassian protection for your data

If you choose not to egress data outside your Atlassian tenant, you can leverage the same security controls, encryption protocols, and data residency configurations provided by Atlassian. Your ScriptRunner data can therefore seamlessly align with your existing compliance frameworks, including GDPR and HIPAA, while significantly streamlining your vendor security risk assessment process.
